Assembler

REPORTS TO:

Production Manager

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday –   8 hours daily 

SUMMARY:

Assemble products such as; check valves, flappers, hydraulic cylinders, jet pumps, restrictors, and ejectors, by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities: 

• Assembles products according to routings and blueprints. 
• Measures parts to specified tolerances. 
• Cleans, assembles, disassembles, and replaces parts as required. 
• Crimps and rivets parts. 
• Uses hand tools, chemicals, adhesives, and epoxies. 
• Uses equipment; such as, press taker, arbor press, grinder, belt sander, drill press, magnifying glass (microscope), ohm meter, ovens, sonic machine, test rigs, fixtures and gauges, and hydraulic press 
• Other duties may be assigned.  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: 

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.   

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to pass an FAA regulated drug and alcohol test.
