1st – 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m
SUMMARY:
Functionally test assemblies by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Computer Skills are a must, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Troubleshooting skills.
Understanding fluid and air setups.
Working with calibrated equipment, Pressure Transducers, DAQ system, Flowmeters, and temperature sensors.
Installs valves and test specimens in test equipment and connects accessories and power sources.
Operates test equipment to gather data on performance of parts and assemblies under simulated operational conditions.
Performs test in accordance with the test procedure.
Maintain and monitor test equipment as necessary to assure continued accuracy.
Record test results
Reads and interprets blueprints, Test Procedures, and other work instructions.
Confers with customer personnel regarding test procedures and test results
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous industrial lab exposure, blueprint reading, and basic electrical knowledge preferred, including minimum of three to 6 years of mechanical experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment testing.
COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass an FAA regulated drug and alcohol test.
